- Post 99 assisted in hosting the Chief of the Forest Service and many other Dignitaries during the NFF Teasured Landscape event in Big Tujunga Canyon.
- Post 99 participated in hosting the 2011 Angeles N.F. Career Day @ Little Tujunga.
- Post 99 Hosted LAFD Explorers to a 1 day Interagency Training Drill @ Little Tujunga.

ACADEMY #17 GRADUATED ON APRIL 17, 2011. THE ACADEMY IS ON THE WEEKENDS-FRI, SAT, & SUN. IT WILL BE 2 WEEKENDS BEFORE EASTER WEEKEND, WITH EASTER WEEKEND OFF AND THEN 2 WEEKENDS AFTER EASTER. GRADUATION WILL BE ON APRIL 26TH.
This Academy is the ONLY WILDFIRE EXPLORER ACADEMY!
